These terms and conditions govern your use of this website and your relationship with Dr Sebastian Bejma Aesthetics, a trading name of Serene Perfection Ltd (company number 15408157), registered at Suite 1-2 Brookfield Court, Selby Road, Leeds, LS25 1NB. By booking a consultation or treatment, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Website Use

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice and should not be relied upon as such. Every patient is different and outcomes vary – nothing on this website should be taken as a guarantee of results.

We take reasonable steps to ensure the information on this website is accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty as to its completeness or accuracy. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on any information contained here. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only – we are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

2. Consultations

A consultation fee of £50 is required at the time of booking. This fee is non-refundable but is fully redeemable against any treatment booked or carried out on the same day as your consultation.

The purpose of a consultation is to assess your suitability for treatment and to discuss your goals and options. The outcome of a consultation may be that treatment is not recommended or that you are not suitable for the treatment you had in mind. In such cases, the consultation fee remains non-refundable.

Any treatment discussed at consultation must be booked within 12 months. After this period, a new consultation will be required before treatment can proceed.

3. Bookings and Deposits

Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your booking is not confirmed until payment of the consultation fee or any required deposit has been received. We cannot hold appointment slots without payment.

A deposit may be required for treatment bookings. Where applicable, the deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to an alternative appointment date provided at least 48 hours’ notice is given.

Bookings are made on the understanding that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions in full.

4. Cancellations and Late Arrivals

If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your appointment will result in the consultation fee or deposit being forfeited.

If you arrive late to your appointment, we will do our best to carry out your treatment, but this cannot always be guaranteed. In some cases, a late arrival may mean that treatment cannot proceed and the fee or deposit will not be refunded.

If we need to cancel your appointment for any reason, we will contact you as soon as possible and offer you an alternative date. We are not liable for any costs you may have incurred in connection with a cancelled appointment, such as travel expenses.

If you are bringing children to the clinic, please ensure they are accompanied by a supervising adult at all times. Children are not permitted in treatment rooms.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you must inform us before your appointment. The majority of aesthetic treatments cannot safely be performed during pregnancy or while breastfeeding, and we reserve the right to decline treatment where this has not been disclosed or where it is not clinically appropriate to proceed.

5. Medical History and Patient Responsibility

You will be asked to complete a medical history and registration form prior to your consultation. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date – including any medications, supplements, allergies, previous treatments, and relevant medical conditions.

We will not be liable for any adverse outcome arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or withheld medical information. If your medical history changes between your consultation and treatment, you must inform us before your appointment.

You are also responsible for following all pre- and post-treatment instructions provided by Dr Sebastian Bejma. Failure to do so may affect your results and could increase the risk of complications. We cannot accept liability for outcomes that result from a failure to follow clinical advice.

Clinical photography is a standard and necessary part of the treatment process at Dr Sebastian Bejma Aesthetics. Photographs are taken before and after treatment for clinical record-keeping and to support the assessment of your results.

You will be asked to provide written consent for photography as part of your registration process. Without photographic consent, we may be unable to proceed with treatment.

Where you have separately consented to the use of photographs for marketing or educational purposes, these will only be used in accordance with that consent. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time by contacting us at info@drbejmaaesthetics.co.uk. Withdrawal of marketing consent does not affect the use of photographs for clinical record-keeping.

7. Treatment Results and Complications

Results of aesthetic treatments vary from patient to patient and cannot be guaranteed. While we will always aim to achieve the outcome discussed at consultation, individual factors including skin type, lifestyle, and how your body responds to treatment can all affect results.

Although rare, complications can occur with any aesthetic procedure. Known risks will always be discussed with you prior to treatment and documented in your consent form. In the event of a complication, we will manage it to the best of our ability. In the unlikely event that further treatment outside our scope is required, we will assist in arranging appropriate care. Please note that private medical insurance may not cover complications arising from cosmetic or aesthetic procedures.

We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your treatment, including loss of earnings or other costs incurred during recovery.

8. Anti-Wrinkle Injections – Review Appointments

A complimentary review appointment is included in the price of all anti-wrinkle injection treatments. This review should take place between two and three weeks following your initial treatment and gives Dr Sebastian Bejma the opportunity to assess your results and make any minor adjustments if clinically appropriate.

Any adjustments made at the review appointment are at the clinical discretion of Dr Sebastian Bejma and are not guaranteed. The review appointment is not an opportunity to request additional treatment beyond what was originally agreed.

If you do not attend your review appointment or fail to book it within the two to three week window, the offer of a complimentary review will lapse and cannot be reinstated.

9. Liability

Serene Perfection Ltd trading as Dr Sebastian Bejma Aesthetics will not be liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from the provision of treatments or services, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Complaints

We are committed to providing a high standard of care. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, we encourage you to raise this with us so that we can address it.

Informal concerns can be raised by telephone or in person during your appointment. Formal complaints must be submitted in writing by email to info@drbejmaaesthetics.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 72 hours of receipt and aim to provide a full response within 14 working days.

Where a complaint requires further investigation, Dr Sebastian Bejma will review your case personally. You may be asked to attend a follow-up appointment as part of this process.

If you remain dissatisfied following our internal process, you may refer your complaint to the General Medical Council (GMC) at www.gmc-uk.org or the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data-related complaints at www.ico.org.uk.
